Mikael Raphael SONDI (B.Eng - M.Sc)

Mikael Raphael SONDI (B.Eng - M.Sc) has extensive experience in software engineering and data science. Mikael Raphael began their career in 2014 as a Software Developer at ITKamer Inc. In 2015, they participated in the Google Summer of Code: Routeflow, where they researched Netconf, Yang, Quagga, Openconfig, Openflow, and Software defined networking. Mikael Raphael also integrated confd into routeflow and performed tests with code written in C language. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at Hadron S.A. as a Software Engineer, where they coordinated the development of the User, Finance and Settings module of an asset management system using ReactJs and Python. Mikael Raphael also integrated the User, Finance and Settings modules with each other and with other modules that include the Asset module, as well as designed and developed the project management module. Additionally, they consolidated relations between the company and clients, by being the point of contact, handling pitching and some demos, presentations and technical concerns of clients. Currently, they are employed at iPaidThat as a Data & Backend Engineer and a Data Scientist.

Mikael Raphael SONDI has an education history spanning from 2004 to 2022. Mikael Raphael completed their GCE O level in Science from Saint Joseph's College Sasse in 2009. Mikael Raphael then completed their GCE A level in Science S6 from Saint Joseph's College Sasse in 2011. In 2015, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Engineering from the University of Buea. In 2019, they obtained two Nanodegrees, one in AI Programming with Python from Udacity and another in Programming for Data Science from Udacity. Currently, they are pursuing a MSc. in Computer Science with a focus in Data Science and Analytics from EPITA: Ecole d'Ingénieurs en Informatique. Mikael Raphael also holds certifications in IELTS from IELTS Official and TFI (Test de Francais International) from ETS.
