Fergus Carolan is a seasoned professional in the insurance industry with extensive experience in underwriting and business development. Since December 2013, Fergus has served as Commercial Underwriting Manager at IPB Insurance, overseeing a diverse portfolio for both Member and Non-Member clients across various lines of business, including Property, Liability, and Cyber insurance. Previously, Fergus held the position of Senior Development Underwriter at IPB, focusing on generating new business within specific risk appetite sectors. Prior to this, Fergus gained significant experience at AIG Europe as Accident & Health Manager, managing a key portfolio of Accident & Health products, and at Zurich Insurance in various roles, culminating as Business Development Manager, where responsibilities included sales and relationship management. Fergus holds an MBA in International Business from Smurfit Graduate School of Business, an IDM Diploma in Direct and Interactive Marketing, and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
