José Julián Salazar

José Julián Salazar is an experienced Technical Expert in Green/Climate Finance at IPC - Internationale Projekt Consult GmbH since February 2022, focusing on energy sector market studies, feasibility studies for renewable energy investments, and the development of green investment measures. As an EDGE Expert, José provides technical support for green building design and certification in Ecuador. Previous roles include Energy Engineer and Consultant positions where responsibilities encompassed photovoltaic systems engineering and energy management systems. José has a solid foundation in energy efficiency and environmental management through various engineering roles, including volunteering as an ISO 50001 EnMS Consultant. José holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, a Master's in Renewable and Sustainable Energy, and is pursuing a Diploma in Green Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
