Jayne Nelson

Jayne Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles.

Jayne began their career in advertising, working as a Senior Art Director for Advertising Australia from 1997 to 1999. Jayne then joined Peach Advertising as the Head of Art from 1999 to 2004.

In 2004, Jayne transitioned to the education sector and worked at the University of Newcastle. Jayne held the roles of Creative Coordinator from 2004 to 2007 and later became the Associate Director of Faculty Services from 2007 to 2014.

Following their time at the University of Newcastle, Jayne joined the University of Melbourne where they served as the Faculty Executive Director from 2014 to 2016.

In 2016, Jayne switched industries again and became the Chief Strategy, Business Development and Communications at IPC Health. Jayne later took on the role of Interim CEO from November 2018 to May 2019 before assuming the position of Chief Executive Officer, which they currently hold.

Additionally, Jayne is a Non-Executive Director at St Kilda Mums since December 2022.

Jayne Nelson completed a GAICD program at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Marketing degree from the University of Newcastle in 2010.
