Andrew Hilts is an experienced professional in the fields of privacy, cybersecurity, and information management. Currently, Andrew serves as the Manager of Information Technology and Information Management at the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario and as Principal at Telecraft Consulting Services, specializing in privacy and cybersecurity consulting. Previously, Andrew held roles such as Senior Privacy Specialist at the City of Toronto, where a governance framework for cybersecurity incident management was developed, and Cyber DevOps Developer at the Ontario Ministry of Government and Consumer Services, responsible for implementing a malware information sharing platform. Andrew also contributed as a Senior Researcher and Developer at Citizen Lab and as Executive Director of Open Effect, leading projects focused on privacy and security analysis. With a solid educational background including a Master's in Information Systems and Design and a Certificate in Cyber Security Management from the University of Toronto, Andrew is well-equipped to tackle challenges in information security and privacy.
