Samiul Hashim (Jibon) has extensive experience in the legal field, specifically in corporate and banking matters. Samiul started their career in 2008 as the Head of Corporate Matters at A Hossain and Associates, where they advised various companies and represented investors in bond subscriptions and arbitration proceedings. In 2012, they became the Managing Partner at Samiul Hashim & Associates, where they and their team focused on banking law practice and worked with several prominent banks. Samiul also served as the Company Secretary & Head Legal Affairs at IPDC Finance, providing legal guidance to the board of directors and overseeing legal and regulatory developments affecting the company's operations.
Samiul Hashim (Jibon) has an extensive education history in the field of law. Samiul started their education in 2002 at the University of London, where they pursued a LL.B (Hons) degree in Law. Samiul completed this degree in 2005.
In 2006, Samiul Hashim enrolled in Northumbria University to pursue a LL.M degree in International Commercial Law. Samiul successfully completed this program in 2008. During the same period, they also attended Northumbria University to study the Bar Professional Training Course, earning a PGDL (Postgraduate Diploma in Law) in 2008.
In addition to their degrees, Samiul Hashim has obtained various certifications in the legal field. Samiul is an ACIArb (Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators) and an Accredited Commercial Mediator certified by ADR-ODR INTERNATIONAL LIMITED. Samiul has also achieved the title of Accredited Negotiator from ADR ODR International Limited. Furthermore, they are registered as an Advocate at the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, certified by the Bar Council of Bangladesh. Finally, they hold the title of Barrister at Law from The Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn.
