Raghwesh Ranjan

Raghwesh Ranjan leads Social and Economic Empowerment practice. He has over 15 years of experience in implementation and management of sustainable development programmes.

Raghwesh has vast experience in design, implementation and management of sustainable development programmes. He has worked on several programmes encompassing integration of social empowerment, economic development and environmental management in challenging geographies. His technical experience ranges from being an implementer to influencing national and sub-national policies. He has worked on programmes funded by IDRC, ILO, The World Bank and Government of India. Prior to joining IPE Global, he worked with Department for International Development (DFID), PwC India and Development Alternatives. He has contributed to several peer-reviewed journals and has book chapters to his credit on a range of sustainable development issues.

Raghwesh Ranjan holds M.A. degree in Governance and Development from Institute of Development Studies at University of Sussex, United Kingdom. He is recipient of the prestigious Ford Foundation International Fellowships Programme.
