Nagesh Poojary

Nagesh Poojary, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the field of automotive engineering and research. Nagesh currently serves as the Managing Director at IPG Automotive, starting in August 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Continental, where they held multiple roles including Location Leader for Product Line Safety and Head of Computer Vision in Bangalore. Nagesh also served as a Lead Technical Architect during their time at Continental. Before joining Continental, Nagesh worked at the Research and Innovation Center, MEC as the Head and Research Coordinator. Their career began at Tata Elxsi, where they worked as a Specialist, responsible for research, design, and implementation of algorithms related to image, audio, and speech processing. Nagesh has demonstrated a strong track record of leadership, technical expertise, and project management throughout their career.

Nagesh Poojary, Ph.D. pursued an Executive Education Program in Organizational Leadership at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, which was completed in 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Ph.D. from the University of Mysore and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, specializing in Algorithm development, Speech Processing, Speech Recognition, Computer Vision, and Image Processing.
