Yun Chu

Yun Chu is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience spanning several decades in various leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager and previously as a Principal Software Engineer at IPG Photonics since 2016, Yun Chu has also held the position of Senior Principal Software Engineer at Electro Scientific Industries from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, significant contributions were made at GSI Group from 1991 to 2013 in roles including Senior Principal Software Engineer and Principal Software Engineer. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Senior System Software Engineer at TLSI and as a Software Development Engineer at Teradyne. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Rangoon Arts and Science University.
