Dr. Nupur Raychaudhuri is a highly accomplished scientist who currently serves as the Scientific Advisor at IPMD. Nupur has over fifteen years of experience in research and academia, and their work has focused on the areas of cancer prevention and treatment, point-of-care diagnostics, and immunology.
Dr. Raychaudhuri began their career as a Post Graduate Researcher at UCLA, where they spent five years studying the potential of new drugs to treat and prevent breast and lung cancer. Nupur then transitioned to Michigan State University, where they served as a Senior Research Associate for one year before moving to LABioMed Research Institute. At LABioMed, they spent one year and three months conducting research on a variety of topics related to cancer and immunology.
In 2009, Dr. Raychaudhuri returned to India to take up a position as an Assistant Professor at Visva-Bharati University. Nupur spent six years teaching at the university before moving to Nistarini Women's College, where they served as a Lecturer for one year and three months. In 2016, they returned to the Indian Institute of Science, where they served as a Research Associate for one year before joining IPMD Inc. as a Technical Consultant. In their current role, they provide technical support and advice to the company's point-of-care diagnostic products.
Nupur Raychaudhuri has a Ph.D in Biochemistry from the Dept. of Microbiology at Bose Institute, and a B.S in Botany (Major), Chemistry, and Zoology from Presidency College.
