Ashlee A Burnett is an experienced professional in the fields of comprehensive sexuality education and gender equality. Currently serving as the Global Lead for CSE at the International Planned Parenthood Federation since November 2023, Ashlee is focused on advancing health and well-being for adolescents and young people, particularly those affected by systemic inequalities. Ashlee's expertise extends to advisory roles with organizations such as The Pleasure Project and FRIDA | The Young Feminist Fund, alongside founding and managing Feminitt Caribbean, which promotes comprehensive sexuality education in Trinidad and Tobago and the anglophone Caribbean. Previous roles include key positions at the UN Girls' Education Initiative, the University of the West Indies, and a youth project coordinator at the Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Ashlee holds an MSc in Education (Policy and International Development) from the University of Bristol and a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of the Southern Caribbean.
