Carsten Jung is currently the Associate Director for Economic Policy and AI at IPPR, where they have held various roles since 2020, including Senior Economist and Head of Macroeconomics & AI. Simultaneously, Carsten serves as a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Bayreuth since 2015. Previously, they worked as a Senior Economist and Economist at the Bank of England from 2016 to 2018. Carsten holds degrees from both The London School of Economics and Political Science and the University of Bayreuth.
