Konstantinos Sgontzos

Konstantinos Sgontzos started their work experience in 2017 as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Crete, where they assisted with various courses including Linear Algebra, Web Programming, and Information Retrieval Systems. From 2017 to 2019, they also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at ICS-FORTH, focusing on building a Paragraph Retrieval System for conversational faceted search. Konstantinos utilized skills in Java, RDF, SPARQL, Semantic Web, NLP, Word Embeddings, and Lexical Databases. In 2020, they joined ipQuants AG as a Software Engineer.

Konstantinos Sgontzos holds a Master's degree in Information Systems and Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Crete, Department of Computer Science. Konstantinos completed this degree from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree from the same university's Department of Applied Mathematics between 2010 and 2016. Before attending the university, Konstantinos earned their High School Diploma from the High School of Spetses between 2007 and 2010.
