Antti Tarvainen

Antti Tarvainen has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Antti began their career in 2004 as a Software Engineer at Atostek. In 2008, they Co-Founded Leonidas, where they acted as the chairman and consulted customers in technology and software development methods. In 2013, they became a Principal Consultant at Reaktor, where they helped clients deliver services. In 2016, they became a Machine Learning Researcher at The Curious AI Company, where they developed Mean Teacher, an algorithm that expands the use of machine learning. In 2018, they joined ICEYE as a Principal Software Engineer, where they created the internal data processing platform, led software architecture of the ground segment, and hired key members of the software team. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Machine Learning Consultant, consulting companies in machine learning engineering and deep learning. Antti also developed a novel lane detection system from scratch for a major European carmaker to run on low cost hardware. Antti Tarvainen is currently an AI Developer at IPRally Technologies Oy.

Antti Tarvainen attended Tampere University of Technology from 1998 to 2004, where they earned an MSc in Information Technology.
