Ekaterina Kotliarova has worked in various roles since 2017. In 2017, they worked as a Junior Engineer at the State Research Institute of Aviation Systems (GosNIIAS), where their work was devoted to the development of an effective semantic segmentation algorithm for automation of airport infrastructure labelling in RGB satellite images. In 2019, they worked as a Research and Development Assistant at Huawei. In 2020, they worked as a Researcher at Tampere University, where their research was related to computer vision, specifically semantic SLAM development. Ekaterina worked on a CNN-based local image detector and descriptor which was designed to be robust to different illumination conditions for indoor environments. Since 2021, they have been working as an AI Developer at IPRally Technologies Oy.
Ekaterina Kotliarova is currently a PhD student in Applied Mathematics at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT). Ekaterina previously earned a Master's degree in the Department of Control and Applied Mathematics from MIPT in 2019, and a Bachelor's degree in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics from Voronezh State University in 2017. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from the National Research University Higher School of Economics in 2020, Coursera in 2019, and IELTS Official in 2020.
