Ben Niu

Ben Niu served as the Chief Technology Officer at Prevail Health from September 2014 onwards. Prior to that, they worked at Confucius Institute Online from May 2011 to February 2014. In their role as a Web developer, they maintained the main website of the institute, improved the efficiency of the search query system, and personally implemented a teacher-student interaction platform in Java. Additionally, they served as a Web-application Engineer for The Chinese Culture Competition at Confucius Institute Online from July 2012 to February 2013, where they developed a Single Sign-On system, a competition application database, and improved the matchmaking system. Before their time at Confucius Institute Online, Ben Niu was a Teaching Assistant for Advanced Java at The University of Iowa from August 2010 to June 2012, where they delivered classes as a supplement to the Advanced Java lecture and improved students' average GPA for the course.

Ben Niu attended the University of Iowa from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science. Ben then continued their education at the University of Chicago from 2012 to 2013, where they completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science.
