Alejandro Santomé Valverde

Photonics Engineer at iPronics Programmable Photonics

Alejandro Santomé Valverde has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and research. Alejandro currently works as a Photonics Engineer at iPronics Programmable Photonics starting in October 2021. Prior to this, they completed a Photonics Research Internship at the Nanophotonics Technology Center from February 2021 to September 2021. During this internship, they worked in the group "Photonic Integrated Devices" under the guidance of Prof. Pablo Sanchis Kilders and supervised by PhD. Jorge Parra.

Before the internship, Alejandro had a Radiocommunications Research Internship at the atlanTTic Research Center in 2018. In this role, they conducted field measurements and set up a broadband probe for channel characterization at 28 GHz. The results of their work led to the publication of an article.

Alejandro Santomé Valverde completed their Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering at Universidade de Vigo from 2014 to 2019. In 2017, they obtained the First Certificate in English (FCE) from Cambridge Assessment English. Alejandro then pursued an Engineer's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes Saarbrücken from 2018 to 2019. Following that, Alejandro attended Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) to pursue a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, completing it from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, they also completed a Master of Engineering - MEng in Telecommunications Engineering at UPV from 2019 to 2021.
