Carlos Pascual-Izarra

Carlos Pascual-Izarra is an experienced professional with a range of roles in academia and the technology industry. Carlos is currently employed as a Senior Software Developer at iPronics Programmable Photonics since May 2022. Previously, they worked at ALBA Synchrotron for 14 years, starting in November 2008 as the Scientific Software Group Head and continuing until April 2022. Prior to that, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at CSIRO from June 2006 to July 2008 and at CSIC from June 2005 to June 2006. Carlos also worked as an IAEA Grant Researcher at the former Instituto Tecnológico e Nuclear, now known as Instituto Superior Técnico, from August 2004 to June 2005.

Carlos Pascual-Izarra completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Carlos pursued their doctoral studies from 1999 to 2004.
