Edward Crookenden

Edward Crookenden is an accomplished professional in the field of machine learning and AI, currently serving as the Platform AI Team Lead at iProov since May 2021. Edward has progressed through roles such as Senior Machine Learning Research Engineer and Machine Learning Research Engineer at the same company. Prior to iProov, Edward worked as an Academic Tutor at MyTutor.co.uk, focusing on data science, Python, mathematics, and physics. Edward also gained experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at Aladdin Healthcare Technologies, developing a COVID-19 biomedical knowledge graph, and as an Analyst at Clearbell Capital LLP, where responsibilities included data analysis and financial modeling. Additionally, Edward conducted a BA project at MeVitae, examining EEG signals to identify unconscious bias and created a visualization tool in C#. Edward holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from the University of Oxford and a Master’s degree in Machine Learning from UCL.
