Juan Sanchez Chatar has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Juan started their career in 2005 as the Managing Project Engineer-Architect at Group-IPS, an EPCM company with subsidiaries in various countries. In 2008, Juan became the Managing Director of IPS SPAIN, a role they held until 2017. During this time, they also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Group-IPS starting from 2017. In 2010, Juan co-founded LSA Sports Inc, and from 2013 onwards, they have been the Founder and Advisor at IAPS. Additionally, Juan was the Western Europe Construction Director at P3 Logistic Parks from 2016 to 2017. Alongside their other roles, Juan also founded and advised ARQUID S.L.P., an architectural office as part of Group IPS.
Juan Sanchez Chatar has a well-rounded education history. Juan obtained a Master's degree in Architecture from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where they studied from 1998 to 2005. In addition to their degree, they also received an Architecture Scholarship in 2002 from the University of Geneva. Before pursuing their Master's degree, Juan attended Lycée Français de Madrid from 1983 to 1998 and focused on scientific studies.

Juan became a Licensed Architect in Spain in October 2005, recognized by the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid - COAM. Additionally, they received certifications as a Guest Architect in Germany from the Hamburgische Architektenkammer in September 2015, the Ingenieurkammer Sachsen-Anhalt in February 2007, and the Branderburgische Ingenieurkammer in October 2006. Juan also became a Guest Architect in Belgium in December 2013, recognized by the Conseil national de l'Ordre des architectes de Belgique.
