Karel de Swert

Karel De Swert has extensive experience in engineering management, currently serving as General Manager of IPS Engineering at Group-IPS since November 2021. Prior roles include General Manager at IPS USA Corp. from June 2017 to November 2021 and Project Engineer at Group-IPS from September 2012 to November 2017, where notable projects included collaborations with Barry Callebaut, Ineos, Kellogg, Cargill, and GlaxoSmithKline across various locations in the USA and Belgium. Karel De Swert began the professional journey as a Junior Project Engineer on a project with Citrique Belge S. A. Academically, Karel De Swert holds a Master of Science in Bio-engineering, Biosystems, from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, obtained in 2012.
