Sophie Rodriguez Vivas

Sophie Rodriguez Vivas is a Validation Engineer at IPS-Integrated Project Services since October 2023, specializing in commissioning, qualification, and validation (CQV) of cGMP spaces through the execution of protocols for scientific equipment and facility utilities. Prior to this role, Sophie worked as a Production Engineer Assay at Ellume, where responsibilities included overseeing assay activities and implementing manufacturing processes for new assay materials. Sophie's background also includes experience as a Research Technologist at the Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences, where involvement in global health projects included performing molecular biological techniques, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, performing similar tasks. Earlier positions at Penn State University included roles as a Laboratory Assistant and Laboratory Technician, focused on biomedical engineering applications. Sophie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Penn State University and received an International Baccalaureate diploma.
