David Jenkins

David Jenkins is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of Research & External Innovation at Ipsen since 2018. Jenkins has extensive experience in oncology, rare diseases, and neuroscience, having previously held leadership roles at Ipsen, including Vice President of External Innovation. Prior to Ipsen, Jenkins worked at TESARO, Inc. as a Senior Director in Translational Research & Development, and at MedImmune as Director of Oncology iMed, focusing on antibody drug conjugates and immuno-oncology agents. Further experience includes senior roles at Novartis and AstraZeneca, where project leadership in oncology and biotherapeutic programs was paramount. Jenkins holds a MA and PhD in Molecular Pharmacology from the University of Cambridge.
