Esther Caffrey

Esther Caffrey has extensive experience in regulatory strategy and compliance within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Senior Manager in CMC Regulatory Strategy at Ipsen since July 2018, Esther develops regulatory strategies, prepares CMC documentation, and coordinates regulatory submissions for peptide drug substance manufacture. Prior to this role, Esther held positions at the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) from November 2016 to June 2018, focusing on quality defects and recalls for human and veterinary medicines, as well as monitoring the quality and safety of medicinal products. Esther has also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Trinity College Dublin, contributing to scientific manuscripts and grant applications. Esther's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Trinity College Dublin and an M.Sci. in Chemistry from Queen's University Belfast.
