Vanessa Barue

Vanessa Barue is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in oncology and hematology. Currently serving as the Senior Medical Director and Global Medical Asset Lead for Oncology at Ipsen since March 2025, Vanessa has held significant leadership roles in medical affairs at Takeda Pharmaceuticals and Bayer. At Takeda, Vanessa was the Head of Medical Affairs for Oncology, Hematology, Patient Advocacy, and Communication from January 2021 to July 2025, while at Bayer, leadership extended to Medical Affairs for Hematology, Radiology, and Oncology. Vanessa's career began at Roche, where responsibilities included Senior Medical Lead for Pipeline Oncology, and medical management in various oncology specialties.
