Vanessa Barue

Vanessa Barue is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in oncology and hematology. Currently serving as Senior Medical Director and Global Medical Asset Lead in Oncology at Ipsen since March 2025, Vanessa previously held key roles such as Head of Medical Affairs for Oncology, Hematology, Patient Advocacy, and Communication at Takeda, and Head of Medical Affairs for Hematology, Radiology, and Oncology at Bayer Pharmaceuticals. Prior experience includes positions at Roche in various capacities within oncology, as well as roles at MENARINI Group and AP-HP. Vanessa's academic background includes a Doctorate in Medicine from Université Paris 13, dual Master’s degrees in Biomedical Research Methodology and Health Economics and Management from Paris-Sud University and Université Paris Dauphine, respectively, and ongoing leadership education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
