Janet Downer

Janet Downer has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. Janet began their career in 1978 as an Assistant Vice President at Bowest Corporation, where they managed Assumptions, Payoffs, Taxes, Insurance Property Claims, Commercial Loans, Delinquency Control and supervised Foreclosure and Bankruptcy. Janet then moved to ITT Federal Bank, fsb in 1992, where they were the Manager of the Asset Sales/Contract Compliance Department. In 1996, they joined Advanta as a Funding Supervisor and an Operations Manager, Conduit Underwriting. Janet then moved to American Residential Investment Trust, Inc. (AmREIT) in 1998, where they were the Vice President responsible for management of operations staff for B/C mortgage loan portfolio from due diligence process to identify loans qualified for purchase, through funding and management of acquired mortgage assets. In 2001, they joined Vertice (fka American Mortgage Network Inc.P) Wachovia Securities as Vice President Head of Post Closing, where they managed post closing operations and grew production to $1.5 billion monthly. In 2007, they joined SCME Mortgage Bankers as Vice President Post Closing, where they managed the post closing operations for SCME until unexpected close of business in October. In 2008, they joined Home Savings of America as VP Post Closing & Servicing. Finally, in 2019, they joined IPS Group, Inc. as a Human Resources Assistant.

Janet Downer attended Community College & State University from 1970 to 1986, where they earned a degree in Business Administration, California Real Estate Principals & Law.
