Kellie McCarthy

Kellie McCarthy has extensive work experience at Ipswich City Council. Kellie started their career as a Customer Service Officer in May 2005 and then transitioned to the role of Assistant Financial Accountant in December 2005. Kellie continued their journey at the council as a Taxation Accountant from July 2008 to February 2014. Kellie then took on the position of Treasury Analyst part-time from March 2014 to January 2021. Kellie moved up the ranks to become a Finance Partner Operational from January 2021 to July 2021, and then a Senior Finance Partner Operational from July 2021 to February 2023. Kellie's most recent role at Ipswich City Council is as a Principal Finance Partner Operational, starting in February 2023. Prior to joining the council, they worked as an Administrative Trainee for Ipswich City Council from March 2004 to March 2005.

Kellie McCarthy obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Southern Queensland between 2005 and 2011.
