Peter Clifton

Peter Clifton has extensive experience in environmental health and planning, currently serving as the Manager of Environmental Health at Ipswich City Council since March 2009. Prior to this role, Peter held the position of Senior Environmental Planner and worked at Brisbane City Council from March 2001 to March 2009 as an Environmental Management Officer and Environmental Health Officer. Peter's career began at the South African Department of Defence, where responsibilities included serving as an Environmental Health Officer from January 1996 to December 2000. Peter holds a Bachelor of Technology in Environmental Health from Natal Technikon, completed between 1988 and 1991, and completed secondary education at Pinetown Boys High School from 1984 to 1987.
