Edward Beck

Edward Beck has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Edward started their career in the United States Air Force as a Firefighter, where they supervised shift firefighters and conducted training. Following their military service, they worked at RCA/Thomson Electronics as a Financial Analyst, where they implemented database systems and improved payroll accuracy.

Edward then moved on to HARMAN Manufacturing/Northridge Manufacturing Group, where they served as a Controller/Cost Account Manager. Here, they identified excess inventory purchases, reduced factory issues, and improved operational efficiency.

At EMAK Worldwide, Edward became the Senior Director of Information Technology, where they led the integration of acquisitions, upgraded SAP systems, and designed a lean technology team.

Edward then worked at Wrigley as a Sr. SAP Business Analyst, handling global SAP implementations and optimizing manufacturing and logistics processes.

Edward continued their career at Oklahoma City Public Schools as the Executive Director of Information Technology, where they improved technology functions and provided leadership for the district.

At Line 6, Inc., Edward served as the Vice President of Information Technology, transforming the IT organization and preparing the company for an IPO.

Edward then joined ICANN as the Vice President of Information Technology, where they rebuilt internal applications, introduced IT governance, and improved software design and delivery.

Currently, Edward is the Chief Technology Officer at IQ BackOffice, where they focus on modernizing core products, enhancing cybersecurity, and collaborating with development and automation teams.

Throughout their career, Edward has consistently contributed to organizations by implementing process improvements, enhancing technology solutions, and driving efficiency.

Edward Beck earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from Virginia Tech, which they completed between 1988 and 1992. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance/Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Edward successfully obtained their MBA between 1994 and 1996. In June 2020, Edward Beck also attained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services.
