Mr Peper is currently the Principal of Reinhardt Peper LLC providing consulting services and Board advisory work out of Detroit, Michigan, USA.
He has more than 35 years of experience in a variety of industry sectors, including battery technologies, electrification, car multimedia, sales, and global supply chain. From 2013 to 2020, Mr. Peper held the position of President and CEO at Robert Bosch Battery Systems LLC in Greater Detroit Area, Michigan, USA.
Bosch Battery is part of the automotive electric powertrain and lithium-ion battery activities of Bosch worldwide. Mr. Peper was responsible for overseeing all company operations, with regional responsibility for the Bosch battery business in North America. Furthermore, Mr. Peper was also a member of the Bosch global electrification powertrain leadership team.
Before becoming the CEO at Robert Bosch Battery Systems LLC in Greater Detroit Area, Michigan, Mr. Peper held the following positions. CEO of Cobasys LLC, Michigan, USA, a wholly owned company by SBLimotive Korea, a 50-50 joint venture of Robert Bosch and Samsung SDI in Seoul, Korea from 2009-2012. Vice president of Bosch Car Multimedia, Blaupunkt GmbH for a global product division with product development and manufacturing activities in Germany, Portugal, Tunesia, Malaysia and China in Germany from 2004-2009. Finance Director and Board Member of Robert Bosch Ltd, Great Britain, and Robert Bosch Finance LLC, from 2000-2004
Mr. Peper is a forward-thinking executive who is skilled at M&A’s and contract negotiations, as well as, bringing new products to market and industrialization. With his strategic and creative relationships, he has been able to leverage high value business opportunities and deliver extraordinary value to customers and stakeholders. Mr. Peper’s experiences include (but are not limited to): board membership, product division leadership, international business, product development and industrialization, new technology and innovation management. He has been responsible for leading sales, manufacturing, supply chain management, partnerships, post-merger integration, and startup mentoring and consulting.
