Lisa Learman

Lisa Learman is a Science Writer/Editor at IQ Solutions, focusing on materials for the National Institute on Aging since August 2021. Concurrently, Learman serves as a Contributing Writer for ASBMB Today, contributing to the member magazine of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Previous experience includes editing for JHU ReVision, the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine's Biomedical Odyssey Blog, and engaging in hands-on science education at the Maryland Science Center. Learman holds a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from Johns Hopkins University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Biology and Music Theory from Oberlin College. A former research intern at notable institutions, Learman has conducted various biomedical research projects throughout an academic career.
