Nick Hocking

Nick Hocking has a diverse work experience in various roles related to business intelligence, technology solutions, analytics, and campaign services. Nick started their career as a Software Support Analyst at Fidessa in 2005. Nick then worked at Responsys as an Email Marketing Campaign Specialist and later as a Team Lead for Campaign Services, EMEA. In 2013, they joined Differentis as a Business Analyst and eventually became a Senior Consultant specializing in BI and Analytics. Currently, they are working at iQ Student Accommodation as the Head of Business Intelligence & Technology Solutions, where they have been since November 2019. Before that, they were the Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager at the same company.

Nick Hocking completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Exeter, from 2002 to 2005. Nick also obtained several additional certifications, including the Microsoft Certificate in Querying Data with Transact-SQL from edX in 2018, the PRINCE2® Practitioner Certificate in Project Management from BCS in February 2016, the BCS Certificate in Modelling Business Processes in 2015, the BCS Certificate in Requirements Engineering in 2015, and the BCS Certificate in Business Analysis Practice in 2014. Nick also pursued the Microsoft Certificate in Analysing and Visualising Data with Power BI but the date of completion is unknown.
