Robert Hurst

Robert Hurst is the Director Engineering at IQ Wired. Robert has over 20 years of experience in telecommunications, including roles as a Sr. Sales Engineer, Sr. Manager Advanced Service Delivery, and Director Service Center. Robert began their career in telecommunications as a NOC Technician Transport with Electric Lightwave in 1999. In 2007, they became Operations Manager with Integra Telecom. Robert was promoted to Sr. Sales Engineer in 2011 and held that role until 2014 when they became Sr. Manager Advanced Service Delivery. Robert held that role until 2016 when they left Integra Telecom to join CenturyLink as a Sr. Sales Engineer. Robert left CenturyLink in 2018 to join IQ Wired as Director Engineering.

Robert Hurst has a certificate in Fiber Optics from Green River College and a certificate in Surimi Technology from Oregon State University Surimi Technology. Robert also has a certification from Ciena Learning Solutions in Carrier Ethernet Certified Associate.
