Dr. Ismail Mohammed Osman

Dr. Ismail Mohammed Osman is a Medical Director at Iqarus since August 2021. Previously, they worked as an ICU Doctor at Iqarus from June 2021 to August 2021. Before joining Iqarus, Dr. Osman served as a Medical Doctor at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) from July 2020 to April 2021. In this role, they were responsible for the care and treatment of patients, particularly those with cardiac and critical illnesses. Dr. Ismail gained experience in handling various medical emergencies, including Acute coronary syndrome, Hypertensive emergency, Acute confusional state, Seizure disorder, Meningitis, Septicaemia, and Covid-19. Prior to their position at MSF, Dr. Osman worked as a CCU Medical Doctor at Surgiscope Hospital Pvt.ltd from January 2017 to April 2020. Dr. Ismail also served as a Senior Medical Officer at the National Heart Foundation of Bangladesh from June 2019 to September 2019. Dr. Osman started their career as a CCU Medical Doctor at Chittagong Metropolitan Hospital Pvt.ltd from January 2016 to June 2017. Dr. Ismail obtained further experience as a Medical Doctor (House Officer) at the Centre for Specialized Care and Research (CSCR) from January 2015 to April 2017. Throughout their career, Dr. Osman has developed comprehensive skills in emergency management and specialized care for cardiac and critically ill patients.

Dr. Ismail Mohammed Osman began their education by obtaining a High School Certificate (AISSCE) in Science from the Indian High School in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates between 1994 and 2006. Dr. Ismail then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Medicine (MBBS) from the University of Science and Technology, Chittagong from 2007 to 2013. In 2014, Dr. Ismail obtained an additional certification, MBBS, from the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council. Following this, they furthered their education by completing a Post Graduate Training in Interventional Cardiology Residency Program at Chittagong Medical College from 2014 to 2015. Finally, from 2015 to 2016, Dr. Ismail completed their Post Graduate Training in Anaesthesiology at Chittagong Medical College.
