Kayla Schlichtemeier

Kayla Schlichtemeier is an Associate Software Engineer at IQGeo since October 2023, following a role as a Database Management Teaching Assistant at Colorado School of Mines from February 2021 to October 2023. In this teaching position, Kayla hosted office hours, collaborated on course development, and graded student projects. Kayla's early work experience includes roles at The Home Depot as a Sales Cashier and as a Maintenance Worker for Aramark, plus involvement in mentoring first-year students. Kayla graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Data Science from Colorado School of Mines in May 2023, after completing high school at Orange Lutheran High School in 2019 and participating in the Girls Who Code program in 2018.
