Attila Geresdi

Attila Geresdi is currently serving as the Technology Lead for Future and Emerging Technologies at IQM Quantum Computers since May 2023 and holds the position of Assistant Professor at Chalmers University of Technology since September 2019. Previously, Attila was a Permanent Team Leader Senior Scientist at QuTech, where focus was on topological quantum computation and the investigation of topological electron states such as Majorana particles. Attila's career includes roles as a Senior Scientist at QuTech, a postdoctoral researcher at TU Delft specializing in nanoscale hybrid devices, and a PhD candidate at Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Attila also has experience as a visiting scientific coworker at Universitat Basel, contributing to research on beam splitters and charge transport in quantum dots made from mesoscopic materials. Attila earned a PhD in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics and holds a Master's degree in Engineering Physics from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
