Filip Topić

Filip Topić is an accomplished Equipment and Process Engineer at IQM Quantum Computers since September 2022. Previously, Filip served as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Chemistry at McGill University from August 2017 to May 2021, where expertise in mechanochemistry and structural chemistry was applied to various projects, including studies on polymorphism and the molecular structure of sodium hypochlorite. Filip has also contributed to the field as Chair of the Gordon Research Seminar in Crystal Engineering in June 2018, overseeing all aspects of the event. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher role at the University of Jyväskylä, focusing on crystal engineering, and earlier research as a PhD student in the same institution, culminating in a dissertation on nanoscale supramolecular assemblies. Education includes a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Jyväskylä, a Master's Degree in Inorganic and Structural and Organic Chemistry from the University of Zagreb, and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the same institution.
