Equipment Design Engineer at Joby Aviation

Devon Parker began their work experience in 2018 as a Process Engineer at American Casting Company, where they observed and implemented systems to increase productivity and quality of the injection casting manufacturing line. They also designed and manufactured a dry box and engineered a low-cost manufacturable handle. In 2018, they also served as the Drive Line Team Lead Internal Combustion Racecar at the University of California, Irvine, where they maximized the power output from the engine to the wheels and provided project status reports and task delegation.

In 2019, Devon worked as a Technical Engineer at Phoenix Deventures Inc, where they worked with clients to address technical issues, designed and manufactured a non-invasive heart surgery prototype, and assisted in testing the prototype with pig hearts. They continued their work at Phoenix Deventures Inc as a Project Engineer from 2020 to 2021, collaborating on various projects.

Most recently, in 2021, Devon started working as an Equipment Design Engineer at Joby Aviation.

Devon Parker attended UC Irvine from 2015 to 2020, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
