After starting the carrier unit of Swissphone from scratch as COO in 2015, he decided to take over Swissphone Carrier AG end of 2018 and changed it into SwissLink Carrier AG. Before, he served eight years as COO for Angel Telecom AG in Switzerland.
He studied Systems Engineering at the Francisco de Paula Santander University in his native Colombia. He is a young entrepreneur who started his career as a freelancer in 2008; then, in 2010, he created his first website for services and security. He founded an international remittance company in 2012, advised different local payment projects, and in 2013 founded his own SMS company specializing in A2P traffic.
As founder of Access Seven AG in February 2000, he partnered with the Soros Investment Fund which invested roughly 125 Euro into the first MPLS provider in Germany. From 1992 to 1997, he was Head of Business Development and Sales Director of Worldcom GmbH Germany before moving his 30-person team to a new venture with Star Telecommunications. He served as Managing Director for their Germany, Austria, and Swiss entities till January 2000.
He started his career in 1985 at Alcatel as being local Telecoms Engineer and Sales Representative in Frankfurt am Main Germany.
