Network Automation Manager at Iquall Networks

Sebastián Esperanza has a diverse work experience in the field of network automation and engineering. Sebastián started their career at Grupo MSA S.A., where they worked as an Operator Supervisor for a brief period in 2015. Sebastián then joined PwC Argentina as a Systems & Process Assurance (SPA) professional from April 2015 to May 2016.

In 2016, Sebastián joined Telecom Argentina as a Network Engineer, responsible for network infrastructure and service operations. Sebastián played a key role in leading the operational transformation from network element supervision to service-oriented approaches. Sebastián also implemented technical analytics and automation processes to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. From December 2017 to September 2021, they served as a Network Automation Engineer at Telecom Argentina, where they led the network automation team and developed solutions to improve network security and operations. Sebastián also designed and implemented data processing codes using Apache Airflow.

Sebastián then moved on to Iquall Networks, where they held multiple roles. From September 2021 to April 2022, they worked as a Senior Network Automation Engineer. In this position, they contributed to automating network processes and improving efficiencies. From April 2022 to July 2023, Sebastián served as the Head of Automation & Cultural Services, leading a team that facilitated organizations' shift from legacy and manual networking approaches to modern, agile, and software-driven methods. This involved transforming mindsets and promoting a new approach to network deployment and management. Currently, they hold the position of Cultural Services Manager in Network Automation Solutions at Iquall Networks.

Sebastián Esperanza attended the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional from 2010 to 2018, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniería en Sistemas de Información. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the Iquall Network Automation Associate (INAA) and the Iquall Netops Automation Specialist (INAS) from Iquall Networks. Sebastián also holds the First Certificate in English (FCE) from the University of Cambridge. Sebastián participated in the MATathon 2023 organized by Iquall Networks and is also a Brand Ambassador for the same institution.
