Darren Stewart

Darren Stewart is an experienced claims professional currently serving as the Head of Marine, Energy, & Aviation Claims at IQUW since November 2024. Prior to this role, Darren held various positions at Canopius Group from June 2020 to November 2024, including Deputy Head of Short tail Claims - Energy, Marine & Engineering and EMEP Claims Manager. Darren's earlier experience includes positions at Hiscox from October 2015 to June 2020 as a Senior Claims Underwriter and Claims Underwriter for Marine and Energy, as well as roles at JLT Group as a Marine Claims Account Handler and Marine Claims Technician from June 2011 to September 2015. Darren's educational background includes a foundation degree in Professional Golf Studies from the University of Birmingham and attendance at Brentwood County High School from 1994 to 1999.
