Ernest Claassens

Ernest Claassens is an experienced technology professional, currently serving as the Head of Solution Delivery at IQUW since December 2023. Prior to this, Ernest held several roles at UnderwriteMe, including AVP, Technical Product Manager (Platform) and Director of Platform Engineering and QA, where skills in product strategy definition and team management were honed. Previously, as a Quality Assurance Manager, Ernest led testing initiatives in Agile environments and implemented process improvements. With experience spanning major companies such as Clarivate Analytics, Thomson Reuters, and Vodafone, Ernest has consistently demonstrated a strong ability to manage technical teams and deliver high-quality solutions. Education includes an MCSE NT4 degree in Information Technology from DTS Cape Town and a Matriculation Certificate from Muir College.
