Amer F. Kasm

Mr. Kasm is a Managing Partner of IRA Capital ("IRA"), a leading private equity firm focused on alternative investments which he co-founded in 2010. IRA invests capital for its own account and on behalf of its co-investment partners, which include pension funds, institutions, and family offices. The firm primarily invests in commercial real estate assets throughout the United States, with an overweight concentration within the medical/healthcare real estate sector.

Mr. Kasm's primary responsibilities include directing IRA’s investment strategy and overseeing the firm’s acquisition and portfolio management processes. Throughout his career, Mr. Kasm has been involved in the acquisition, financing, and development of investments valued in excess of $5.0 billion across a range of asset classes including multifamily, retail, office, and industrial.

Mr. Kasm earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Masters of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and is a member of several commercial real estate organizations, and also actively dedicates his time to various non-profit organizations and philanthropic causes. Mr. Kasm currently resides in Newport Beach with his wife and three children.
