Yosef Deray

Senior Software Engineer at iraLogix

Yosef Deray has been working in the software engineering field since 2009. Yosef began their career as a Web Developer at MCD Life. In 2011, they moved to GiftCards.com, a wholly owned subsidiary of Blackhawk Network (HAWK), as a Software Architect. In this role, they worked on infrastructure for a rewrite of their entire platform with use of a service oriented architecture. Yosef also reworked the image management pipelines and storage, which greatly improved the stability and reliability of the system. In 2015, they joined Blackhawk Network as a Sr Staff Software Engineer, where they helped develop and plan the development of software projects and assisted developers in the development process. Yosef is currently employed at iraLogix as a Senior Software Engineer.

Yosef Deray began their educational journey in 2002 when they obtained their GED from the Yeshiva Schools of Pittsburgh. Yosef then attended the Lubavitch Mesivta of Chicago from 2004 to 2005, studying Judaism. From 2005 to 2006, they studied Jewish Law at the Rabbinical College of America. Yosef then attended the Yeshivas Chabad Cholon from 2006 to 2007 and Talmudical Seminary Oholei Torah from 2007 to 2008, both focusing on Jewish Law. Finally, Yosef Deray obtained a Rabbinical degree from the West Coast Rabbinical Seminary in 2010. In 2013, they obtained a SensioLabs Certified Symfony Developer (Expert) certification from SensioLabs.
