Negar Mojtahedi

Negar Mojtahedi is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in various news organizations. Since May 2024, Negar has been a reporter and host at Iran International. Prior to this role, Negar worked at Global News as a Global BC Producer from October 2013, focusing on producing newscasts and long-form segment interviews. Negar's previous experience includes positions as a reporter and on-air associate producer at CBC BC News from September 2012 to October 2013, and as a breaking news reporter at CTV News from May 2011 to September 2012. Earlier career highlights include work at CTV News Lethbridge, where Negar reported from the field and wrote content for broadcasts. Negar holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from The University of British Columbia and has participated in the Summit for Reporters and Editors in Multi-Platform Newsroom program at the Poynter Institute.
