Dirk Dorenbos

Dirk Dorenbos is an experienced professional in the rope access industry, currently serving as an IRATA Assessor at IRATA International since April 2014. As Managing Director at RopesEdge.ca and RopesEdge Equipment Co. since 2016 and 2017 respectively, Dirk has contributed to the development of safety and efficiency systems for work-at-height professionals. Dirk held the position of Technical Authority at Stuart Olson Inc. until June 2024, overseeing rope access operations and asset management, and also served as IRATA Technical Authority at NorCan Electric Inc. from December 2020 to June 2024. Additionally, Dirk managed Access Anywhere Training & Solutions, which provides rope access training in Western Canada, from April 2012 to March 2024. Previous experience includes roles at Tacten Industrial Inc., where responsibilities included compliance management, program development, and training as an IRATA Lead Instructor from April 2004 to January 2016.
