Israel Ramos

Israel Ramos is the Drug Screening Coordinator at IRB Barcelona. Israel has over fifteen years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and has been with IRB Barcelona for just over a year.

Previously, Israel was the Head of Screening Department at Almirall from March 2002 to December 2016. In this role, they oversaw all aspects of the department, including budgeting, personnel, and operations.

Before joining Almirall, Israel was a Visiting Scientist at Merck from March 2001 to October 2001. In this role, they gave support to the proteomics team, executed histochemistry and immunohistochemistry staining, and studied GPCRs calcium signalling using FLIPR.

Israel Ramos has a Master in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biomedicine from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, a Biochemistry Degree from Universidad de Salamanca, and a Chemistry Degree from Universidad de Valladolid.
