Simone Famularo

Simone Famularo is a Surgeon Scientist currently working at Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli IRCCS. Previously, they have held positions such as Research Fellow at IRCAD and Fellow at Hepatobiliary and General Surgery Division at Humanitas Research Hospital. Their research interests include hepatopancreatobiliary surgical training, physiopathology of liver failure, and genetic characterization of hepatocellular carcinoma pattern of recurrence. Famularo has completed a PhD in Data Science in Medicine and has extensive experience in liver transplantation surgery and emergency medicine.
