Massimo Preziuso is a prominent academic and professional in the fields of sustainable finance and financial technology. Currently, Massimo serves as a Lecturer at The University of Salford, teaching courses on Financial Technology, Sustainable Finance, and Financial Markets, while also conducting research in Sustainable Fintech. Massimo is involved in multiple roles, including as a member of the B20 Brasil Task Forces on ESG and Investments, an Innovation Advisor for the Financial Conduct Authority, and the Chair of the Business and Impact Council at the International Research Center on Artificial Intelligence under UNESCO. Previous experiences include partnerships and leadership positions in various academic institutions and organizations focused on sustainable development and fintech innovation. Massimo holds numerous advanced degrees, including a Ph.D. in Economics from Luiss Guido Carli University and a University Teaching Qualification from the University of Twente.

IRCAI is a UNESCO Center in Artificial Intelligence with headquarters in Slovenia and an international team across the world. Its vision is to bring AI solutions to Sustainable Development Goals. It wishes to create an international Network of AI experts in SDGs, promote research in AI for SDGs and make it possible for research projects to find specialized investors and make impact with AI for specific problems such as climate, healthcare, education, economy, poverty, social injustice, etc.
