Leo Krymmer has over 20 years of work experience in various roles, starting in 1974 at the National Hydrometeorological Center of Belarus as a Senior Engineer. Leo then worked as an R&D engineer and Laboratory manager at the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (MTUCI) for seven years. From 1985 to 1989, they served as a Senior System Engineer at the National Directorate of Technology of the USSR "Kaskad" (Minsk division "Alpha"). In 1989, they became the Manager of the cable TV department at the National Center of Technology Innovation of the USSR (Minsk branch). From 1991 to 1995, they worked as a Workshop Manager and Electronics Engineer at Early Bird Services. Leo joined Sentech (Pty) Ltd in 1996 as a Senior Technologist, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of satellite broadcast equipment. In 1998, Leo moved to ATIO Pty Ltd, where they worked as a Systems Engineer for three years. Finally, since 2001, they have been with Irdeto, holding various roles, including Data Center Manager, Technical Trainer, Systems Engineer, and Customer Support Engineer.
Leo Krymmer obtained a Master's degree in Radio and satellite communications from Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (MTUCI) between 1978 and 1982. Prior to that, between 1969 and 1974, they attended Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (Minsk Radioengineering Institution) to study Radio engineering, although it is not specified whether they completed a degree at that time.
